FACING YOUR BLITZ by Jeff Kemp – Video Devotion Guide
DON’T YOU DARE KISS IN FRONT OF THE KIDS!
What makes kids say “yuk”, but they really like? Watch and revive the affection.
“Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other” Romans 12:10, NLT
“Finally, brothers, rejoice. Aim for restoration, comfort one another, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. Greet one another with a holy kiss” 2 Corinthians 13:11-12, ESV
Are your emotions more influenced by stress or love?
Do you tend to take loved ones for granted?
Are you expressing more frustration or affection?
Does it embarrass you to show affection?
Do you hide your kisses and flirting with your spouse from the kids…or did you lose that altogether?
As a child, would you want to know for sure that mom and dad are in love and will stick together? How would you know?
Affection is a very good sign, good for you and good for your kids.

Our creator says rejoice, show comfort, show love and live in peace. He wants us to greet with a kiss. That must at least apply to marriage. Love includes genuine affection and delighting in those you love. That includes lots of hugs, holding hands, strokes of the hair and kisses…in private, and in front of the kids.
